Bioforum about high-tech agriculture

This week we had a visit from Audun Korsæth, Research Professor at NIBIO Apelsvoll. He held a very exciting lecture on high-tech agriculture and precision farming. Precision farming is a smart alternative to traditional farming, both economically and environmentally, and the fast development within this field gives better sensors that are cheaper, better and smaller. To increase the efficiency of input factors such as fertilizers and pesticides, it is important to use “the right things, at the right time and in the right place”.
