Anders T. Øfsti recently accepted the position as Cluster Manager for Arena Heidner. Mr. Øfsti brings significant industry and international experience to the table from his current position as Regional Manager in Topigs Norsvin. Here, he has been responsible for the Nordic Countries and Eastern Europe, including Russia. Prior to Norsvin, he was a Sales Manager for Felleskjøpet Agri, and he has also worked for Strand Unikorn. Mr. Øfsti is a Cand. Scient in Aquaculture with a specialisation in nutrition from the University of Bergen.
As of January 2016, Anders T. Øfsti will follow Karianne Eide Longva as manager for the bioeconomy business cluster Heidner. During Arena Heidner’s first three years as part of the Norwegian Innovation Clusters Programme. Mrs. Eide Longva has successfully led Heidner to position itself as a leading R&D and business cluster, with strong relevance in the Norwegian green bioeconomy. Mr. Øfsti’s international experience will be key in the work ahead to generate further growth and expansion. Another important goal is to establish a national centre for green bioeconomy in Hamar.
